The challenge
A large investment bank, based in the UK, was seeking to improve how its IT and business functions worked together. The transformation program with more than 6500 personnel was underway but needed SME assistance.
The solution
Experience and detailed knowledge of DevOps was used to provide the client with directional, advisory and practitioner expertise. Complementary change management skills were used to drive a DevOps transformation management including the:
- Focused IT performance assessment canvas
- An environment and eco system for DevOps
- Value stream approach for alignment with multiple stakeholders
Continuous assistance and coaching in DevOps and Agile culture and practice was provided to the client to ensure the practice was future proof.
The outcome
The increased collaboration with business and enterprise architecture teams enabled a DevOps capability program to be created in collaboration with global service providers.
A DevOps assessment framework was established to identify areas of focus and for continuous improvement thereby enabling the program to continue in BAU.
