Leading financial institution deploys consultancy services to solve 80 per cent of pain points and effectively integrate all organisational changes across the fast paced business

The challenge

A leading financial institution needed a tax strategy and road map – looking at technology support and operations across the finance area – to improve workflows. This required the support of a new team and a great deal of organisational changes

The solution

First, pain points had to be identified by interviewing candidates across all business departments – 568 were uncovered. The pain points were distilled into solution areas of which 27 were chosen, these predominately addressed people, process, technology and data

The results

A roadmap of initiatives was created that would help to reduce the impact of these pain points by 80 per cent. Process changes come hand-in-hand with the implementation of new technology and this was managed effectively across the firm
