The challenge

A leading retail insurer in the US needed to change the way its IT team worked to reflect industry best practice. A full lifecycle transformation was required including people, process, culture and technology.

The solution

The creation of a target operating model and management of the journey towards implementation. Agile was established as the way of working, and the team model to support this was created, with individuals trained on the approach.

Additional coaching was provided, plus mentoring on Agile adoption for IT and business teams. Assistance was provided in setting up DevOps tooling pipeline.

The outcome

Teams were re-organised and aligned around value stream, productivity improved and time to market reduced. A process of multi-speed life-cycle based on business demand was established and the existing IT operating model was improved to bring Agility and stability.
